Privacy Policy

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), and password, which is stored in hashed form.

Project data. We collect photos you upload, generated design concepts, project details you provide (such as category, style, materials, notes, and location-related project information), and chat messages you send within a project.

Payment information. Billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. We receive limited billing information from Stripe, such as subscription status, plan type, and transaction identifiers.

Usage data. We collect information about how you use the platform, including page views, feature usage, and device and browser information.

Shared project page data. If you create or share a project page, we collect information associated with that page and user interactions with it, such as link visits and clicks on recommendations.

Camera and photo library. If you use the mobile app, you may grant access to your camera or photo library to capture and upload photos of your home. These photos are used solely to generate design visualizations.

Push notifications. If you enable push notifications on the mobile app, we store a device token to deliver alerts such as render completion and account updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Biometric data. If you enable Face ID or Touch ID login on the mobile app, biometric verification is handled entirely on your device by the operating system. We do not receive, store, or transmit any biometric data.

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Inspire AI platform
• Generate design concepts from your uploaded photos and project details
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send transactional communications, such as account verification, password resets, receipts, and project notifications
• Display relevant product recommendations on shared project pages
• Use project information you choose to share, including location-related project information, to identify and display local contractors that may be relevant to your project
• Analyze usage trends, troubleshoot issues, and improve platform performance and features
• Respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account

We do not share your personal information with contractors solely because a contractor recommendation is displayed. Any direct contact or information sharing with a contractor occurs only if you choose to engage with that contractor.

To provide our services, your uploaded photos and project details may be sent to third-party model providers, currently including OpenAI and Anthropic, to generate design concepts, provide design chat assistance, project estimates, and product recommendations.

These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies. We do not use your project data to train our own models, and we do not permit third-party providers to use your customer content to train their models except as allowed under their applicable enterprise or API terms.

We share information only as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, provide requested services, comply with the law, or protect our rights.

We may share information with:

• Stripe, for payment processing and subscription management
• OpenAI, for image generation and text analysis
• Anthropic, for design chat assistance
• AWS, for hosting, storage, database, and compute infrastructure
• Google Places API, for contractor recommendations based on project-related location information you choose to provide
• Resend, for transactional email delivery

We may also disclose information:

• If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
• To enforce our terms or protect the security, rights, property, or safety of Inspire AI, our users, or others
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business

We do not sell your personal information.

Project images are stored using Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3. Application data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in and enable core platform functionality. These cookies are necessary for the service to operate.

We may also use limited analytics-related technologies to understand usage and improve the platform. We do not use third-party advertising cookies for behavioral advertising.

Shared project pages may include product recommendation links to third-party retailers, including Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe's, Wayfair, and IKEA. These links may contain affiliate tracking parameters. If you click one of these links, the retailer may place a cookie or similar technology on your device according to its own policies.

We may track click counts and engagement with recommendations for analytics, reporting, and platform improvement. We do not share your personal information with retailers solely because you clicked an affiliate link.

Project pages you choose to share may be accessible to anyone who has the link, unless and until additional access controls are provided by the platform. You are responsible for deciding what information, images, and project details you include in shared pages.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in project content or shared project pages unless you are comfortable sharing it.

We retain account data, project data, and project images for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the service.

If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal data and project images within 30 days, except where we need to retain certain information for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax or accounting obligations, or enforcement of our agreements.

We may retain aggregated or de-identified usage data for analytics, product improvement, and business reporting.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or export of your personal data.

You may also:

• Update certain account information through your account settings
• Export project data through available platform features
• Request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us

We will respond to verified requests in accordance with applicable law.

Inspire AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by email or through the platform, as appropriate. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of the updated policy means you acknowledge the revised policy.
